2. Tata Nexon Diesel
It’s the safest SUV under Rs. 10 lakh in India. The diesel engine is the most powerful (108 BHP and 260 Nm) in this segment and pretty quick too. You get great riding dynamics as well as best in class ground clearance which is very helpful in our road condition. If you want to pick an Indian car, this should be your choice. You can either look for XM Diesel or XZ Diesel trim. Tata’s six-month holiday EMI scheme make the buying just a little bit easier.
3. Honda Amaze

5. Ford Freestyle Diesel
It’s the crossover variant of Ford Figo. If you want to have a sheer driving pleasure in the segment then Ford Freestyle is your bait. It is the most powerful of the crossover segment, produces 99BHP and 215NM. It has lesser cabin space than Altroz but much higher ground clearance might help in some offroading. 6. VW Polo

7. Elite i20
