If you have a tight budget of around 6 lakh but want the best car available then I have the list. This list may be short because I only picked the car which makes sense, for me first a car should drive well and safe for my loved ones, and then come those feel-good features. So here is my list of best cars under 6 lakh available in India.

1. Tata Altroz XM

TATA altroz is the second vehicle from tata stable to be designed under impact 2.0 design language and built upon alfa architecture, this means this the Safest vehicle in this segment (It scored 5 Star in Global NCAP safety test) and the most handsome car even in a segment above it. The 1.2 Litre Petrol engine produces 85PS and 114Nm, which is adequate for the everyday drive. The Interior is very spacious and the quality is decent too. It sells at an ex-showroom price of 6.15 Lakh. So in the list of best cars, this one tops.

2. Tata Tiago XZ

If you liked Altroz but want to have more features at that price in exchange of a smaller vehicle, then XZ trim of Tiago should be your Pick. The engine is similar to Altroz albeit it produces slightly less 82 PS. It scores 4 Star in GNACP and also gives a mileage of 20 kmpl. The ex-showroom price is Rs 5.7 Lakh

3. Ford Figo Ambiente

If you want to have a sheer driving pleasure in the segment then Ford Figo is your bait. It is the most powerful of the lot, produces 95BHP and 120NM. In this variant you might miss some exterior and interior looks and also it has lesser cabin space than altroz, the driving dynamics really worth it. Ex-Showroom price is Rs 6.09 Lakh

4. Grand i10 Nios Magna

Hyundai never skimps on features and Grand i10 Nios Proves it. It has good city ride, good balance between comfort and driving dynamics and in addition to that a lot of feel-good features. The ex-showroom price is Rs. 5.91Lakh
